Bicincittà is a new automatic rent-a-bike service. If you arrive by train, bus or car you may ride a bike to reach the place you must go to. There are 5 bike stations where you can pick up the bike and return,  allowing total integration with other different means of transport.

In the whole territory of Prato, there are 5 bike stations and a total of 60 bicycle-parking columns.

 


Distribution stations

Stazione FF.SS. centrale (main train station): Piazza della stazione – 16 racks

Stazione FF.SS. Porta al Serraglio (train station): Via Cavallotti – 14 racks

Ospedale (Hospital): Piazzale Ebensee – 8 racks

San Paolo: Via Toscanini – 10 racks

Piazzale Nenni: Via Nenni – 12 racks

 

Service availability

The service is available 7 days a week from 6.00 to 22.00 hours

Fares

Forfeit costs annually established

Card issuing

If you are 18 years-old you can obtain your Bicincittà card by showing a valid ID and signing the service agreement. A forfeit payment is requested and each Bicincittà member will be given a personal padlock to secure the rented bike.

Any kinds of theft and tamperation is regulated by the use agreement enclosed with the card.
